It will have the added side effect of discouraging tourists – especially those nasty Americans – from visiting our blessed British Isles. Can’t have them arriving on our sacred shores with all their cockamamy ideas and inventions that endanger our way of life.
Actually, I was thinking of suggesting to the PM that we build a nice wall around the perimeter of the islands and close down the airports to prevent any further dilution of our culture and economy. Yes, by gum, I’ll write to him presently!
