Thanks Maryse. Age is often just a matter of how you feel, I know. Some days I feel 12, other days, 23. My grandmother’s 90-year-neighbour used to refer to my 85-year-old Gran as “that girl” (she thought Gran was flighty). I might do another podcast (or write something anyway) about this later. I know I should count my blessings – and I do on occasion. But sometimes it’s a relief to be to just be curmudgeonly. (And see, WordPress let your comment through in the end!)

Thanks Kristina! Glad you liked. Your tweet certainly did reach me – and if I didn’t reply to it I apologise. I tried to reply to to everyone who was kind enough to send me birthday greetings by whatever medum. The Facebook comment was supposed to be funny 🙂 tho perhaps it could have been better expressed.

I sincerely hope that my Happy birthday-tweet reach you on the right date and no, I did not wish you a nice day on Facebook because I know that you rarely check in so it didn’t seamed to be any point in doing so.

I am sorry to hear that you don’t enjoy birthday’s in general (I still do somehow, perhaps this will change in a few years time as I grow older).

I have to point out that you write really well. I’ve said this before but I really enjoyed this text, especially your research into the copywright laws.
