I now know that what I had before going on a trip to Poland was the flu and that what I have now is “just” a cold. And I very much agree that it seems to have become fashionable to say “I’ve got a touch of the flu”, as if it’s positive! Trust me, when you’ve *really* got the flu you don’t have the energy to tell people about it!
