In reply to Eva. Thanks for your response Eva. I'm glad you also have a feel for London green! I can well understand why that occasion sticks n your memory. I haven't visited Regents Park for many years. The nearest I've been recently was one evening three or four years ago when my wife and I were walking on Primrose Hill one summer's evening evening and we looked south over the Park and heard the lions roaring in the zoo. (Well, that's how I remember it anyway. She says, "Lions? Roaring?") :-)

Have not thought about it before but actually I associate London with green. Although I have visited London so many times during the years the first thing I think about has always been when I had breakfast on a bench in Regents Park a sunny day in april almost 40 years ago with my best friend Suzanne. It might be because during that visit I met my first love. Only for a week, then we had to go back to Sweden and he, Ian, went back to Australia. London is definitely green and always sunny!
