I think if you’re already following a creative writing course you are probably in-line for better and more immediate feedback from there, Eva. Some people taking the NYC Challenge are not impressed by their feedback – to judge from comments on the Forums. But I don’t know whether they have legitimate complaints or whether it’s just sour grapes. I know the judges have had to read hundreds of stories of very varying quality. It must be hard to find positive things to say about some of them.
