A lone tree and a snowdrift on the ski-trail at Storhogna, Jämtland. Looking west towards Norway.
A photo from the trip we took to Jämtland to celebrate my sister’s 50th birthday. The ski hotel at Storhogna is also a spa – jut the thing to help tired muscles recover after a day skiing on the plateau above the hotel. The snow was crisp and the sun was bright (most of the time). Being Anglo-Scots, Linda and her husband Jim are not enthusiastic skiers and usually prefer to holiday in warmer climes. But we got them to come and they enjoyed themselves.
