I’m down one wisdom tooth, which is why there won’t be a proper blog post this week.
I’ve had toothache for a couple of weeks. Yesterday I got a time for a wisdom tooth extraction and today I’m a quarter less wise. But perhaps more opportunistic as I’m using it as an excuse to postpone publishing a proper blog post.
The operation went very well, and quickly and painlessly. My left jaw, cheek lip and gum are still dead from the local anasthetic as I write. The dental nurse gave me a little plastic treasure chest to take my tooth away in. (I suspect they usually do this for kids rather than 60+ adults, but I asked to keep the tooth.)
Normal service will be resumed next week.
